Dr. Md. Mahabub Alam is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior to joining SAU, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agriculture, Faculty of Science, at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Noakhali, Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons.) and Master of Science in Agronomy from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He subsequently completed his Ph.D. in Plant Stress Physiology and Molecular Biology at the United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University, Japan, under the prestigious Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. Dr. Alam has authored and co-authored more than 40 full-length research articles published in reputed international peer-reviewed journals, contributing significantly to the fields of agronomy and plant stress physiology.
