Lita Biswas is Assistant Professor of Dairy Science in the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (Hons.) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. She has secured an excellent academic record with a six-month internship program to complete her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry degree. She also completed a Master of Science in Poultry Science from the same university. Later, she did a second M.Sc. in Dairy Science from the same university because of her keen interest in this area. At present, she is working as a research assistant with MEXT Scholarship in the School of Veterinary Medicine, Graduate School of Veterinary Sciences at Iwate University, Japan. She has an immense interest in working for animal health and welfare.
