Taufika Islam Anee is currently working as a Lecturer at the Department of Agronomy, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has completed her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons.) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, where she achieved the Dean’s award for securing CGPA above 3.8 out of 4 in consecutive 6 semesters during level 2, 3 & 4. She also completed her Master of Science in Agronomy from the same University, where she secured the 2nd merit position with a CGPA 3.96 out of 4. Taufika was bestowed with the opportunity to work as a “special research student” at Laboratory of Plant Stress Responses, Kagawa University, Japan with one year scholarship funded by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) and completed her MS research experiment there. She has published her MS research work in Plants (impact factor 2.762 as of June 2020) in the year 2019. Taufika has co-authored over 18 publications including 6 book chapters, 2 review articles and 9 research articles on different aspects of environmental stress, plant stress responses and stress physiology.
