Tasnim Farha Bhuiyan is currently working as a lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Botany at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons.) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, where she achieved the prestigious academic Dean’s award for securing CGPA above 3.8 out of 4 in consecutive 6 semesters. She has also completed her Master of Science in Agricultural Botany from the same University, where she obtained CGPA 3.96 out of 4. Tasnim has got an scholarship funded by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) and had an opportunity to work as a Special Research Student at the Laboratory of Plant Stress Responses, Department of Applied Biological Sciences, Kagawa University, Japan. There she conducted her MS thesis research work for 1 year and published her research article as a first author in the journal of Biocatalysis and Agricultural Biotechnology. As a co-author she have also contributed in more than10 international publications including research articles, book chapters and review articles. Her research interest include agricultural plant science, plant physiology and plant stress physiology. Being a faculty member of agricultural science her aim is to provide quality education as well as to conduct quality research works those will contribute to the welfare of agricultural sector.
