Lecturer
DR. Al-Wasef, working as Lecturer, Department of Microbiology and Parasitology under the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh since December 2023.
He has completed his MS (Parasitology) degree under the Dept. of Microbiology and Parasitology at 2020 from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU). He has obtained his Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BSc. Vet. Sci. and A.H.) degree in 2017 from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU). He has completed his Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) funded by EnVA, France. He has been secured an excellent academic record with a six month duration internship and externship program.
He has received Dean's Award for outstanding academic results in Bachelor in Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 consecutive in a row. He has a keen interest in working for animal health and welfare. He had been working as Livestock Extension Officer (LEO) in the Livestock and Dairy Development Project (LDDP) funded by Department of Livestock Services (DLS), Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock (MoFL), Bangladesh from July 2020- December 2023. His specialization areas are Helminthology, Protozoology, Entomology, Anthelmintic, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, and Surgery. He received National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship 2018 from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
