Dr. Nipu sen is a lecturer of Department of Microbiology and Parasitology, Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh since December 2023. She obtained her Master of Science in Microbiology from Department of Microbiology and Parasitology, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. She specializes in Bacteriology, molecular microbiology & zoonotic microbiology. Her main domain of research is related with zoonoses associated with pet birds, antimicrobial resistance and detection of antimicrobial resistant genes. Dr. Sen received Prime minister gold medal in 2018 & Dean's Award for outstanding academic result in B. Sc. Vet. Sci. & A. H. in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 consecutive in a rows. She also received National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship in 2018 from Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
