DR. Md. Khairul Islam is working as a Lecturer, Department of Medicine & Public Health under the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh from 19 December 2023 to till date. He received Post Graduation Diplomas (PGDs) from EnVA, France. He completed MS degree (MS in Medicine) under the Department of Medicine & Public Health in 2020 from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU). He got National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship (2018) from Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for research work. He completed bachelor degree on 'B. Sc. Vet. Sci. & A. H.' in 2017 from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU). He secured an excellent academic record with six month duration internship and externship program. He interested to work for animal health and welfare. He participated in several courses, workshops, seminars, symposium, specialized trainings, surveys, censuses, international and national meetings. Research Interest: Public Health, Food Safety, Zoonotic Microbiology, AMR, MDR etc.
