Department of Agricultural Chemistry
I am working as an associate professor in agricultural chemistry at the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. My academic journey includes an MSc and a PhD in pesticide science from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in China and a bachelor's degree in agriculture from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in Bangladesh. Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Chemistry at Umeå University, Sweden. My expertise in micropollutant analysis (pesticides, pharmaceuticals, PFAS, PAHs, mycotoxins, and heavy metals) in food and environmental samples and in their risk assessment is supported by a strong academic and research background in agricultural chemistry.
