Mohammad Saiful Islam was awarded the Ph.D. in Basic Veterinary Science (Major in Anatomy) from the United Graduate School of Veterinary Science, Yamaguchi University, Japan in 2011 with a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. He joined in the Department of Anatomy, Histology & Physiology, Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (ASVM), Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka 1207, Bangladesh as Assistant Professor in 2012 and served as an Assistant Professor until 2016 and an Associate Professor and Chairman from 2017 to date in the same department. Earlier he worked in the Barisal Veterinary College under Department of Livestock Services (DLS) as Lecturer and Assistant Professor. Dr. Islam has a significant record of research in the field of mammary gland biology and neoplasia that includes publications in a number of papers in the respected journals such as The Veterinary Journal (British Veterinary Journal), Journal of Veterinary Medical Science. In addition, he has published a significant number of papers and abstracts in the proceedings of various conferences.
