Professor
Md. Akhtar Hossain is an Associate Professor of this Department. He has been working for this Department since 1st June 2006. He joined this Department in 1st June, 2006 as a lecture and he was promoted as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in 2008 and 2015 accordingly. At present he is leading the Department as a Chairman for second time since 2016. He was also the Chairman of this Department from 2012 to 2014. With the great effort and cooperation of the teachers, officers, and staff of the Department he is trying to develop and bring something new to the academic and research sides as well.
Mr. Akhtar Hossain has a great passion for the research on Teacher Education and English for Specific Purposes (ESP).
