Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam is a Professor of Genetics and Plant Breeding under the faculty of Agriculture at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He worked as a Post Doctoral Researcher at Plant Biotechnology in Kangwon National University, South Korea. He achieved his Ph. D. degree in Plant Molecular Biology from Kangwon National University, South Korea. He received his Master of Science (MS) in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh and Bachelor degree in Agriculture from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka. During his Post Doc and Ph.D., he participated and presented his research work in many international conferences, seminars, and workshops in Spain, France, China, Japan and Bangladesh. As a professor of renowned public Agricultural University his main target to serving the nation through promoting Agriculture in various ways. Producing good quality agricultural graduates through teaching, research and motivation is his main target. Dr. M S Islam believes that our graduates will lead the nation to supply quality food for the next few decades. He also performing high-quality research for the betterment of farmers and humankind.
