Dr. Khadija Akhter is professor, Department of Plant Pathology, Sher-E -Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka. She joined as lecturer in 2003, upgraded as second grade professor in 2017. Field of interest is Mycology, Plant Virology, Contamination of mushroom Research works are conducted on contamination risk analysis and pasteurization of substrates of oyster mushroom cultivation. MS Research conducted in Plant Virology and the title of the thesis was “Effect of Date of sowing on the prevalence of Tomato yellow leaf curl virus and impact of TYLCV infection on Growth yield contributing characters of Tomato varieties.” Ph D Research was conducted on mushroom and the title of the thesis was “Study on substrate contamination of oyster mushroom in Bangladesh and their management through pasteurization and agrochemical enrichment.”
