Md. Zakir Hossain is currently employed as a Professor at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) in Bangladesh. He also earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) and a Masters of Science in Mathematics from Jahangirnagar University, respectively, in 1984 and 1985. Zakir joined Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 1988 as a lecturer in the department of Mathematics. Zakir awarded Bangladesh Govt. Scholarship in his Masters degree in Agricultural Statistics. He has a keen interest on Agricultural Statistics, Experimental Design, Environmental Statistics, Applied Statistics. Mr. Zakir has written two text books jointly. He also published more than 16 articles in some reputed journals.
