Dr. Md. Sadique Rahman is a ‘ Professor’ at the Department of Management and Finance, Faculty of Agribusiness Management, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Rahman completed his PhD in Agricultural Economics at the Bangladesh Agricultural University. Before joining SAU, Dr. Rahman worked at Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) under the Department of Agricultural Economics as a ‘Scientific Officer’. So far, Dr. Rahman has published more than 30 journal articles and 3 book chapters. Dr. Rahman has experience working with FAO, IPM-CRSP (USAID), CIP, University of Oxford etc.

Dr. Rahman's research focus includes, but is not limited to, climate change adaptation, climate change policy, Renewable energy policy, SDGs, impact assessment, technology adoption, agricultural finance, food security, development interventions etc.
