Asma Akter serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Finance at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. At present, she is pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the College of Economics and Management at Nanjing Agricultural University, China.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management (Hons.) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University and Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the same University. She seeks to promote the integration of determinants of sustainable rural agricultural development. She has also a great fascination to works on agricultural innovation and technology adoption, climate change adaptation and climate-smart agricultural practices as well as agricultural credit and agricultural finance.
