DR. Md. Roknuzzaman Khan is a Lecturer in the Department of Medicine and Public Health, Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Bangladesh, where he has been serving since December 2024.

DR. Khan has pursued advanced professional training, including a Certificate in Professional Development Training (CPDT) offered by DTF-USA (2024) and Postgraduate Diplomas (PGDs) from École Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort (ENVA), France.

He obtained his MS in Medicine from department of Medicine and Public Health with merit position 1st class 1st in 2020 and his B.Sc. in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry in 2018, both from SAU. During his undergraduate studies, he received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence for three consecutive years (2014–2016). He was also awarded the prestigious National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship in 2018 by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, in recognition of his research contributions.

In addition to his academic and research achievements, DR. Khan has actively participated in numerous national and international courses, workshops, and scientific meetings, further enriching his expertise in veterinary medicine, public health, and animal science. His research interests lie at the intersection of veterinary medicine, public health, and translational research, with a focus on improving animal health and welfare for sustainable livestock development.

Research Interest: One health, Public Health, Food Safety, Zoonotic Microbiology, AMR, MDR etc.
