As a dedicated and versatile researcher, professional and academic with over 12 years of experience specializing in agricultural and environmental science, particularly in aspects of agricultural production and processing, handling and disposal of agrochemicals and other contaminants, vegetation and landscape management, biodiversity and ecosystem, water quality, ecotoxicology, and food safety. Published above 45 research items including journal articles, book chapter, conference presentations, and two thesis on agrochemicals (pesticides and fertilizers), trace element contamination, landscape management, human and environmental health risk assessment, AI driven model for plant disease detection/food adulteration, lab-on-chip for soil enzyme detection, soil health, packaging and shelf life, postharvest management of crops, and food safety. His doctoral research on “Pesticide use in urban environment and food safety” has gained significant global attention, being cited by the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the UN, World Health Organization (WHO), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Commonwealth of Massachusetts, French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD), and National Agency of Food Safety, Environment and Work of French (ANSES) in their policy report. According to Scopus™, my research has achieved a FWCI score exceeding 3.13, indicating that my research has achieved more than three times higher citations than the expected impact relative to global literature. Furthermore, my contributions have addressed critical global challenges, aligning with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 2: Zero Hunger, Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure, Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals. Contributed (Seven) research projects with grants worth $1.31M AUD with a funding organizations including CRC for High Performance Soils, Australian Coal Research Ltd., Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources in Australia, along with Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Research System, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Planning Commission in Bangladesh. Throughout his academic and professional journey, his outstanding track record has been recognised by several achievements, including 1) Appointment as Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Newcastle, 2) Academic Dean's Award for my outstanding academic achievement from SAU, 3) International Postgraduate Research Scholarship, offered by The University of Newcastle, Australia, based on merit and outstanding academic achievement, 4) Three international conference scholarships, offered by CRC CARE Pty Ltd, and Soil CRC Pty Ltd, Australia, 5) Academic promotions from Lecturer to Associate Professor at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Bangladesh.
