Md. Shoriful Islam is acting as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Botany under the Faculty of Agriculture at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons.) and Master of Science in Agricultural Botany from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka. The main responsibility is to teach students and doing research works.

Research Interest: Plant Science (Crop Science), Plant Physiology (Stress Physiology), Molecular Biology (Cell Biology), Plant Ecology, Plant Nutrition, Plant Hormones.
